Multiple OS
How many server Operating Systems will you be able to pick from?
Each and every notebook or desktop or server is run by an Operating System - the low-level software that interacts with the hardware, including peripheral devices such as a mouse or a printer, along with any apps that are present on your system. Any program input through a command line or a Graphical User Interface (GUI) is processed by sending an Application Program Interface (API) request to the Operating System. On a server, each and every application runs within the parameters established by the OS as well - priority, physical memory, processing time, etc. This goes for both standard Internet site scripts and server-side software such as a media server. If a virtual server is set up on a physical one, there can be two independent Operating Systems, called guest OS and host OS, so you can set up a different software environment on the same machine.

Multiple OS in VPS Servers
Our
VPS server plans include three Linux releases which you can pick from for the Operating System of your new server - Debian, Ubuntu and CentOS. Aside from being cost-free, the OSs are extremely stable and risk-free and the reason to offer you all 3 of them is to ensure that you will be able to run every app that you'd like, since different pieces of software may have different requirements in terms of the environment they work on. Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers
The
dedicated server packages that we offer come with three different Operating Systems to pick from. They are all Linux distributions - Ubuntu, CentOS and Debian, and not only do they have no license taxes, but they are also known as the most dependable and safe OSs. We provide three different ones for the reason that each of them is backed by a separate community. The packages which you could add on your hosting server are different and this could matter in case you want to install some piece of software with specific requirements regarding the hosting environment. In this light, the internet hosting Control Panel which you can select for the dedicated server is also determined by the OS that you will select. You can select any of the three Operating Systems throughout the order process, however if necessary, we can always set up the server once again with an alternative one upon your request. As an optional service that you can add to the package any time, we can update your OS on a regular basis so as to keep it as secure as possible.
